Question? removing rear glass
Whats up guys first post so bare with me. I'm removing the rear glass and I was wondering if some one can give me a tip or 2 about taking the chrome trim off. I'm not worried about the rubber seal I'll replace but I'd like to reuse the trim. any help would be great! thanks BTW its on a 72 cab

I would just take a utility knife with a new blade and cut the rubber on the inside. Stick the blade between the glass and rubber and get a place started. Once you have it started you should be able to pull the rubber out from the glass to make it easier to cut. Just be sure you keep the fingers behind the blade 'cause it's easy to do some serious damage to your hands cutting it....  Oh, and welcome to the board.... LockDoc

Use a razor knife to cut the inside lip of the rubber and the window will pop right out after its out you can take the metal trim out of the rubber.

Thanks guys I had planed on cutting the rubber I just wasn't sure on the trim. but it sounds easy enough thanks agian and glad to be a part of this great site. So when is the next Ft. Worth get together?
