What would help soften it up the most? I like to take it in the desert and i cant with the way it is now its really stiff. thanks

Swapping your front springs out for skyjacker softrides, or alcan, or dever springs will help alot. A good set of adjustable shocks like the rancho 9000's will help also.

Tuff Country and BDS are both softer than the Skyjackers.

Cant you do the 54" front spring converion to the 77's. I know a few pepople who di this to their 80's k5's and they say it gives them more suspension travel and smoother ride?

Not in my opinion. Ive ran about every leaf spring out there and the skyjacker softrides ride softer and flex alot better then most. But hey, whatever works for ya.
