Best paint for engine components?

Cant afford a Powder coat setup at this time, so I'm looking for recommendations on what is the most durable and stock looking paints are for various engine components. Brackets, brake booster, air cleaner, pulleys, and such. Also were these parts originally Satin or Gloss Black. Thanks

Check out the Eastwood Co. . Their prices are a little high on some things but well worth the quality. Also you might be able to find a Paint and Body supply store around where you live that will sell some of this stuff for a little less money.

If you want this paint to last basically forever then you need to use car paint. A good single stage urethane will hold up. Problem is, is that you'll have to take everything apart and paint it outside of the truck. You'll have to thoroughly degrease, prime, and then paint. When you see show cars with fully detailed engine compartments, they almost always use a single stage urethane thats the same color as the body color. Good luck
