tire performance ?
i am thinking about buying a pair of hoosier quick time pro's 295-50-15. has anyone had any experience with this dot drag tire?
the gut wants 200 dollars for the pair they only have 5 passes on them. how do they bite? do they ride ok on the street? |

i knew a guy that had them on a 69 roadrunner 440 with nos...they hooked pretty good ,...only bad thing is you have to run tubes....

That is a great size for a dot tire, and as long as you run over 20lbs on the street you should be fine with drivablilty, less and you are looking for trouble on the street.
And that tire is a soft sidewall that recommends a tube, but most of the time is not reqired unless the tire leaks a bunch. You should be able to get them cheaper, like 150-175. Good traction tire, I would go for it.
