is that a stepper
I know alot of us on here are Hot Rod fans and here is a link to the Two Lane Blacktop movie that I have had in my sig for a while and I just noticed about half way through the trailer it looks like a '67 shortbed step drives by in the background. Just wondering if anybody can help me sleep at night now since I can't tell for sure. It drives by right when the main stars are at the gas station discussing the cross country race for pinks. Let me know if my eyes are playing tricks.

It's hard to tell for sure, but I think it looks like one.

Re: is that a stepper
Looks like one to me. Kinda hard to tell if the year is a 67-68 though.

Re: is that a stepper
I would assume its a stepper because of the side mounted spare.

Re: is that a stepper
I put it into full screen and did it frame by frame and from what i saw...
-Is in fact a step. -it has the spare mounted to the side plus some wired framing in the bed. -This is the tricky part, after closely looking at the front of the hood it looks like it has the slope of 67-68 and i think i can make out a turn signal on the fender. So in conclusion, my edumacted guess would be a 1968 c/10 short step 2wd

Re: is that a stepper
I agree with 70c10swb about it being a 68.The weird tubing in the back is a stock rack. They were used to haul livestock. The rack also made it easier to overload one with bales of hay or sacks of feed.
