Does anyone know why?

can anyone tell me what might be causing my wifes truck to be lower on one side? is the shocks bad? look at the rear fender wells over the tires. you can see a difference and really see it when it is on a flat surface.
also by looking at it can someone tell me what they might think, how much has it been lowered in front and rear?
do i need to pull out springs and see? are springs usually marked what they are? drop wise.

thanks in advanced.

Re: Does anyone know why?

Looks like a 3/3 drop.. My truck has a 3/4 drop and looks like this.. Is the bed of the truck level with the cab? Maybe you just need to shim up the bed.. If not look and see if some yahoo cut the springs and maybe made a mistake.. I have 3 drop spindles and 4" drop springs in the rear...

Maybe the previous owner heated the springs. Its easy to get them uneven when you do that. I heard that some of the old truck sat slightly higher on the driver side so that when you sat in the truck it rode level.

Re: Does anyone know why?

it looks to me from the pics that your r/hand fender slopes down towards the ground more than the left hand fender in the pics.stand at the back of your truck and kneel down to the body line then look straight down towards the front fender, the body line should be straight all the way from the back of cab to front of fender.do it on both sides see if they are the same.cheers

Is the right side of the bed is bent outwards? How does the tailgate line up when it is closed?

Re: Does anyone know why?

thanks guys. got to looking at rear springs. the springs are turned opposite of each other. the coil that is bigger on one end is on the top on right side and viseversa on the other. would that make a difference?
haven't checked ride heights yet. got to find a good level surface. my drive way isn't the flatest.
