Re: Cowl Debris Screen
I have been installing 1/4"x1/4" mesh hardware screen in our trucks. I paint the zinc coated screen with flat black and it makes the screen very unnoticable. The screen is cut for the washer nozzles and wiper mechanism. It is held in place by the cowl and the screws that hold the cowl in place as the (four in the middle) go through the screen.
Here is a pic of the screen as installed. Jim

Re: Cowl Debris Screen
Where do you get it? Do you get it in the width you need or cut from a sheet?

Re: Cowl Debris Screen
Sport/Truck,
I bought a 3' long roll of material for $6 (in 2002) and I cut the material in strips, (about 4 1/2" wide). To conserve material I cut the strips in the 3' direction, but have to use (2) pieces. So far I have done (7) of our trucks and have enough material left to do a couple more. Jim

Re: Cowl Debris Screen
I tried doing that with some of the roll stuff, but I couldn't get it to stay in place when I bolted on the cowl so I gave up.
