I would offer him $1000-1500 max for it.
Looks to be in good shape, though John

Re: whats this truck worth?
im thinking $1000 top. i dont know how the market is for these trucks where your at but theres plenty of them here in good shape and cheap. i payed $800 for mine in almost as good shape as that with a 350 with 5000 miles on it. i also saw one a while back i almost bought. he wanted $3000 for it. fully restored, no rust or dents. had a 400 horse 350/400. i waited too long, i went back the next day and it was long gone. anyways good luck.

Maybe a grand at the most, then you have to hope he has everything when you start putting it together.....otherwise its back and forth to the parts store for bolts and stuff....

Re: whats this truck worth?
I would offer $1000 no more than $1200, SWB Fleets seem to be tougher to find (at least around here) and from what it says he has the fenders, hood etc. 63' is just right if you like the wrap around windshield, knee knocker doors (dog legs) but dont want the 60-62 torsion bar frontend, X-Frame issues. Good Luck

Re: whats this truck worth?
yea i tought 1700 was high. but it does seem the be in good shape. Around here i cant find a swb in that year in good shape. He says he has the front clip and it comes with a 400th tranny thats installed now. just needs motor. Just looking for a fair price so if i have to a can turn around and sell it for what i payed.

Re: whats this truck worth?
It does seem to be a little high for a truck with no motor- Also with it apart its hard to say what shape the various assemblies are- but i see it is converted over to 5 lug- so that is a plus!
