Question Outrigger?

I am selling my black super clone because I bought what I wanted, 1971 Super K10 swb. When it is done it will look similar to Chevy71super's truck, but not that show quality. I will be taking it to college next year, so it won't be a real nice shower. Anyway, I was wondering what the heck an outrigger was because I am looking for the part of the floor that goes from the rocker to the floor pan. Mine is rusted out and I didn't know if they made that piece. If you guys know what I am talking about.... it is a piece that will fit in between the weatherstrip and the floor pan is. Also, what is the best way to patch the section of floor where the cab corner is??? It is the little section behind the back pillar, the little round piece of floor???? Thanks for any older board member who can help. Trevor

the outriggers usually are the channels that are under the floor pan tacked to it and tie into the front cab corner rocker joint and vertical door pillar post joint and extend over to the paralell-to-frame rails floor supports,. also an outriggeer can be the outer floor pan whjere weatherstrip lip is and where door sill plates sit, which are usually always rotted gone missing too on original trucks

there are a pair of rigger for the rear cab corner floors too, cant miss them if you feel up under the front cab floor and rear cab flor at corners of cab. they are usually rotted out and totally gone on original trucks

good luck

Trevor,
Here is a picture of the bottom of my cab after I got done welding in the floorboards. The outriggers are the metal braces that are running north/south at the bottom of the cab. Glad you found the truck you wanted. If you ever want to sell it let me know . . . (My wife would hate me even more!)
