i solved a few problems!!!(almost)

well since ive had my truck, if i left it to sit for a few days the battery would die. i got my test light out and hooked it between the + terminal and the battery cable, the light was dim but on. i went through the truck pulling fuses and checking wires. for the hell of it, i disconnected the gauge cluster wires, and thats what it was. when i unhooked them the test light went off. i dont know why any gauges would be pulling power when the switch is off but hopefully ill figure it out. also i started it up and was just standing there admiring the sound of a 350 with glass packs and i heard the water pump squealing so i guess the water pump is going out, and that must be why its been overheating lately. so a new water pump is in order!!! great, more money.......

also, after i posted this i rewired my headlights/tail lights/blonkers completely including adding a new headlight switch so the high/low is on the switch it self. this is what happens when i get bored.

Don't forget the 'blonker-fluid' needs to be changed on a regular basis......after every other muffler-bearing rotation.

Whew! Thanks, I don't feel so lonely now. I've been telling everyone that my truck is paid for... except for that monthly payment to the local hardware and part store.
