Thumbs up Out with the OLD.....in with the NEW!

As stated in the weekend "what did ya get done" thread, I swapped out the 396 in my truck for my 454....

This 454 I built 3 years ago for my '80 SWB, when I sold it I kept the engine and trans.....It's been killing me having it just sitting in the corner on a stand.

My step-dad always wanted to buy it from me to put in his, so now that I have his old truck, I immediately swapped it in.....Harold would have liked that..... (R.I.P.)

The 396....it runs great, so once I find my wife a '64-7 Chevelle, it'll go in it!

And the 454 installed! I also installed new muffs, as the old Turbos rattled a bit....sounds pretty tough!

I'm Liking The Air Cleaner Too!!! I Had To Make My Own By Cropping The Inlet From Another Stock Cleaner And Inserting It Into My Stock Cleaner. Looks Good And Gets The Cool Air To The Engine, But Man Yours Looks Great

Very clean, 69BB...

I can even imagine the racing strip scheme on the housing of the Ram Air.
