One of the members here is putting a 60-66 on a c5 chassis. I can't remember who though

Member Frizzle Fry is doing the Corvette chassis swap. Here are some pics of the work he's done:

Thanks guys. Build thread in my siggy. It keeps getting one delay after another, but my Burb/Tahoe has benefited from it

If I were doing anything earlier than C5 I would just put the vette suspension on the truck frame. C5 and C6 have an awesome hydroformed frame with floorboards flush with the bottom of the rails. That's what makes it worth adapting the truck body to.

If your going with C4 stuff (C3 not worth it), I'd go with Porterbuilt's Dropmember C4 and C4 backhalf all the way!

Re: c3 truck

it was just a thought. the vette is fun but it's not very practical. i like the way it drives but it's no truck. since i got a 69 for a driver i don't seem to even take the vette out anymore. was thinking of putting my 67 on the vette chassies but remembered how wide the vette frame is. mabe i'll sell it or give it to my daughter she will be getting her lisence soon
