Bought this last nite. 68 GMC swb leaf spring frame. Got it for 150.00!!
I plan on using it under my 72.

I don't like the way the truck pulls a trailer. The coil springs are to unstable for me.

Shane, have you tried helper bags? I think that's what SCOTTI did since he pulls a lot with his 68 SWB.

My suburban had them mounted on the trailing arm between the coilspring and the front trailing arm attachment point. It had a bracket welded to the trailing arm for the bottom mount and one welded to the frame for the top mount. Sorry I don't have any pictures, but I think you get the idea.
