Re: crazy PO's

The only real mod my truck's PO(who is my uncle) did was remove the stock 350,th350 combo and install a 6.2 diesel,700r4 combo...

Re: crazy PO's

I had a door bell button rigged up to to operate the horn. And as with most folks, wiring with no rhyme or reason to it.

Re: crazy PO's

My PO had problems with his feet, so he hacked up the throttle linkage for a shorter throw. The entire linkage was held together with bailing wire. I had to fab a new linkage. Other than the linkage, he didn't really hack anything up too bad.

Re: crazy PO's

70 with a 402, when i went to rebuild it i found chunks of timingchain, pushrods and lifter pieces in the oil pan. This was a runing motor. All he did was replace broken parts and left the pieces in the pan.

Re: crazy PO's

no exhaust hangers just hanging from headers with loose bolts and choke plate tied open with bread tie and radiator supported by dish towels stretched from side to side
