Wheel Fit??
Will A 1996 F-word (f250) With "stock Steel" 6 1/2"bolt Pattern, 8 Lug, Fit A 72 (chev)3/4?? Just Using Them For A Resto Rolling Project.

Bolt pattern is the same. I assume the steel wheels are lug-centric, so it should be fine as long as the center hole is big enough. I don't think the center hole is an issue going onto chevies... Someone else may know more specifically?

as long as the bolt pattern is the same and the center hole is big enough it doesnt matter what theyre from, but the backspacing will be different so you might want to check that

if you work the truck like a 3/4 ton truck, then you don't want to use the wheels. The hubs on the Gm truck are hub centric, meaning the hub holds the weight of the load to the wheels. The lug nuts just keep the wheels in place. Fords have a much larger center hole than the hub on your axle.
If it is just to make your frame a roller, or if you don't plan on hauling/pulling loads... then these wheels will work. |
