2-1/2" Fender trim.

Trimmed the front lip of the front fenders today to get a little more tire clearance. No more rubbing!

Nice work, as usual. More pics. Is that enough or do you have to trim the back as well. Just so I know, then I will put it on my list. How's it running?

Finally picked up wheels, just like yours. Thanks Vt.

Hope all is well

The only part of the tire that still rubs (only on back of the fender) is the rubber knots that stick out on the thornbirds, but I'm going to put a set of 35 x 12's on her before I do any more trimming. I don't think the 12 incher's will rub, the thornbirds are 14".

Very nice job - modification isn't even noticeable to me.

Re: 2-1/2" Fender trim.

Does that Jimmy have springs for a 73+ on it? I noticed the front springs stick back pretty far and are close to the frame, like on my 69 4wd.It (my 69 4wd)has 73+ springs on it.

Naa, got some polishing to do. Really look sweet, gotta agree. Going to stick w/ralleyes till the build gets dun.

Sorry Rusty for the hi-jack, but since you have one of the top 25 trucks didn't think you'd mind
I gotta do that to mine, looks great. Sell me your 14's and I'll trim the back of the fender also J/K, that tire/wheel combo looks awesome on your truck. J.

Re: 2-1/2" Fender trim.

Rusty, do you have a 'before' pic?

Would be nice to compare the two.

Not sure if you can handle it, it is realllllly ugly, almost junkyard matrl. Don't eat anything before he posts up a pic.
