rear end help
I am in the process of restoring my grandfather's 65 and I am curious about the availability of gear parts for it. It is a factory 3.73 peg leg. How difficult would it be to convert to posi? Who is the best supplier for these? Are there aftermarket carriers for this housing? Thanks!

Re: rear end help
I bought one on eBay a year ago and have not installed it yet. It was sold by a aftermarket parts supplier through their eBay store. Do a search for 1965 Chevy truck and check the title and description box. There will be approximately 1,000-1,900 listings. I believe I have seen a few in the last week or so. You might also try Summit, Curries or Gear Vendors.
I hope this information helps. Tony |

Re: rear end help
I used an auburn posi unit, good except don't think it can be rebuilt. Since installing mine a couple others have came out. Might want to search the drivetrain forum.
