Want to install dual rear wheels on '66 K20
I have a '66 Chevy K20 with factory running gear and eight lug hubs. I like the look of the dual wheels on the factory C30 dually. Will the factory wheels from a '64-'66 Chevy C30 bolt onto the factory hubs of a C20/K20? What is the factory wheel size of the dual wheels on a C30? I am trying to educate myself on the possibility of interchanging these wheels. Thanks in advance for your input.

Re: Want to install dual rear wheels on '66 K20
Putting duals on the rear shouldn't be a problem, providing the wheel studs are long enough. I don't remember if the C30 trucks of this vintage had the reinforcing ring on the rear wheels or not. That may be a factor in wheel stud length. Now for the front of your truck...you'll need to change the hubs to the dual rear wheel type in order to be able to use the dually type wheels. As for wheel size, the '66 C30 that I have, it had 16.5's on it before I got it. probably 6.5 or 7" wide, but I can't say for sure if they were original wheels or not.
