Lay rockers??
Is it possible to lay rockers, without going through all the work of z'ing the frame??I am wanting to put bags on so my truck lays as low as possible when it is parked. And have a decent stance while driving it down the road. I am considering a 4/6 drop anyways. What are the parts I will have to have in order to achieve this?? Drop spindles? C notch? Any warnings would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lay rockers??
If you're wanting a 4/6 drop you don't necessarily need bags. You could use a drop spindle (if you convert to disc) and rear drop springs. Some of the board vendors sell complete disc swap kits with a drop of your choice. I think you need quite a bit of modification of our truck to lay rocker, but don't quote me on that.

Re: Lay rockers??
i have a 5.5/6 with a 3 in body drop and bumper is 4" off ground rocker is 6 front 7 back rear roll is about 9 in. that said mine sits about where a aired out bagged truck sets but mine is there all the time. now if i just swapped to baggs my self and aired them out id be real close to laying rockers. the body drop is fairly easy on these trucks expesially if you have a wood floor bed. and its cheap too if you can get free metal from a local scrap yard. i lost about 1.5 in of my cab floor hight in the center section that spans the frame, another words your fram rails will extend about 1.5 in through the floor wich needs cut and raised...

Re: Lay rockers??
Here is "Slow Build" (doa search for my thread) that is bagged, 2" body droped, 2" Z'd as well. It is close to laying rockers but if I did it again I would go with a dropmember (PorterBuilt street rods) and a back half! Also I only Z'd the back!
