66 steering column clamp
Anybody know where I can buy a new clamp like the one in the picture? This one's usable but badly rusted. A shiny new stainless clamp would sure be nice!

Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 24 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined. I still used a dial-up modem back then! |

They don't reproduce this item, that I know of. I suggest removing it, sandblasting, priming and painting it. It will look like new. Stainless would be very nice!

i just use a s/stl radiator hose clamp but like said above just clean up the one you have. I am sure if you want to take the time their are clanmp companies that will make what you need.

Well, it cleaned up nicely with a wire wheel, wire brush and Eastwood Oxi-Solv rust remover.

You really want stainless? It's just a metal strap. Bend a stainless strap around a pipe of that diameter and drill some holes!!
