Free to a good home!

Free for pick up is an in cab fuel tank with all mounting hardware, the plating still shines and the USS stamp is still there. With the tank is a new fuel neck grommet, and a cardboard fuel tank cover that I put in about a year before i pulled the tank. The tank still has the cap and sending unit that worked well before the tank was removed. I even have the fuel lines if they are needed.

Re: Free to a good home!

Sure, but it will be wrapped around a 20 gal. tin can. The other pieces were sweeteners to make the tank go away but you can PM me and we can work something out. Lane

Re: Free to a good home!

I wouldn't mind taking everything But it would take half a day and nearly $50 in gas .
Do you ever get down to the shore? Could meet some where?
I know I'm asking allot, but thought if you were heading east, northeast..?

Oh, does the tank have the return/vent lines on the passenger side? Any rust inside?

LMK

Re: Free to a good home!

PM me your address and I will send the cover to you. I'll let you know the shipping. I saw a thread somewhere where they took an old tank and hollowed it out and used it for behind the seat storage. It looked like a pretty good idea. It will give me something to tinker with in between working on the rest of my build. Lane
