Different color roofs?

Does anyone have pics of 67-72's with the roof a different color than the body? I'm thinking about a gloss black roof/green body for the GMC, but I can't really envision it. Any pics would be great.

Re: Different color roofs?

here's another i just found... .board member... it ain't a longhorn, but it DOES have a caddy power plant...so it's cool by defult.

If that site didn't host it, then you could click on this then http://web.mac.com/jason_hall/iWeb/T...s/IMGP0270.jpg

Just cuz the powerplant is so kick ass... it's an odd color too, so it goes with the thread's theme.

Re: Different color roofs?

Most don't realize it because how many people look at your roof. Mine needs to get a little darker and have thought of doing it black.

Re: Different color roofs?

Both colors are from the 96 GMC book. I actually seen a two tone done in those colors. The bottom was a tad lighter in the beginning. So now the roof needs to get darker. The top is a metalic.

Re: Different color roofs?

I really have been thinking about a black top for it. The frame and interior is pretty much black.

Re: Different color roofs?

a different color roof looks good on all these trucks, great color combos. i'm planning on black silloetts at the bottom with orange fading to yellow at the top. the drawing i've done should look really nice if i can pull it off.
