Be sure to let us know how everything fits. How come the UPS man never delivers any packages like that to me?!?!?!

Re: Got all my new parts....Can't wait

I will keep you all posted on how they fit ...The boxsides, cowl hood are Goodmark and I have heard they fit really good. The front fenders are Tri-Plus.....I don't understand why Goodmark sent me Tri-Plus fenders and front box panel. Are they the same??

Goodmark also sent me the wrong fenders so now I don't know what I am going to do with these.....they are for a 69-72 and I ordered the 68 chevs but the invoice says the 69-72 ones.

Re: Got all my new parts....Can't wait

Call goodmark, they will have UPS or FEDEX pick the wrong fenders up and redeliver the 68's. Why not just buy 67 fenders and avoid the shaving? Just a thought. Goodmark is a retailer not a manufacturer, they sell mostly tri-plus parts (they are good quality). I'd like to have a delivery like that!!

TEST FIT.....you may have to massage the bed a little....it took me a couple hours to get mine square before disassembly and paint. So dont get discouraged if the bed doesnt fit together perfect the first try....cant wait to see it together, keep us updated!

Re: Got all my new parts....Can't wait

The shave kits are are off of ebay or www.infantirides.com

He is a great guy to deal with and has all the kits to shave everything.

The problem I have with the fenders being the wrong ones is when I ordered them I ordered the right ones (online) the guy entered the wrong ones in the computer and I never caught the mistake. Goodmark will not ship to Canada so I had to get them shipped to a USA address and then get them shipped to BC....then I went to BC to get them......These parts have made alot of miles already......I might just sell these fenders and buy the 67-68 fenders here locally.
I am not sure if I am going to shave the clearance light as of yet that is why I ordered the 68 fenders

Question Re: Got all my new parts....Can't wait

let me see , you ordered bedside's and front fender's and will have to weld patch's in to delete the side marker ? 67 front fender's don't have the marker's either , do the aftermarket part's place's not make them for 67 ?
this has got me curious cause for what you are trying to do 67 stuff would have been bolt it on and GO!
I have not bought any body part's so I don't know if they make them for 67 , I have noticed that the aftermarket won't admit 67 existed as they list everything as being 67 to 72

Re: Got all my new parts....Can't wait

Here is what it says on the Goodmark website where I ordered the parts from:

4143-607-681L / R 1968-72 Shortbed Fleetside / Wideside Pickup, LH / RH (may use on 1967 models if side marker hole is filled)

So that would answer your question.Like I said before I am not sure if I am going to fill in the holes or not but I thought I would order the kit just in case.

Re: Got all my new parts....Can't wait

the '67 bedsides are not available and I'm pretty sure they are actually manufactured by Lioho

Don't count on "No" bodywork...or, more specifically, don't skip the chance to skim and block everything....makes painting a lot more rewarding when it looks like glass
