Just came across the deal of a lifetime!!!

My buddy is like "Hey I got a 77 K5 blazer. Im taking it to the junk yard in a week. Let me know if you want anything off of it."

So immediately im thinking I'll take the 12 bolt 3.73 rear end from it. Then I got to thinking... if he's taking it to the junk yard, why not try to get the whole thing from him. I told him I'd give him 50 bucks for it, and he said sure.

This thing is all original, no motor or tranny, but it's got a full interior which is in good shape, front and rear axles, all the suspension, and just about everything else you could think of under the hood. All 4 rims are good, with decent tires. It's got good bumper on it and everything. All the glass is good.

Im picking it up tomorrow. I gotta find a trailer, but once I do, it's all mine.

My parents are gonna **** when they see a non running truck in the front yard! But I don't care. I already have a buyer for 75 bucks for both doors, so Im gonna have my money back in no time.

PM sent. I'll call you when I get it and find out the condition of the truck in more detail.

Cool find. Let us know when you get it. I can move this thread to the Classified, or you can start another one.

Meantime, everyone do him a favor and don't turn this in to a "wanted to Buy" thread...

Yep, it's too bad. But in my case, I got a good deal so it's worth it for me. Even if I can't part it out, at least I got the rear end that I want.

Nothing is handed to me.........ya just gotta look and be in the right place at the right time....$50 is a damn good price for what ya got.....
But saying it's a "deal of a lifetime" leads me to beleive you don't get out much, or else you're young, and have a lifetime to go........

Re: Just came across the deal of a lifetime!!!

There will be a classified post about it soon. Since you're local you can come by whenever and check it out.

We popped a tire getting it off the trailer though
