Wink opinions please

want to do something to the bed of my 84 swb. just painted now with a rubber mat . Am not a big fan of covers & lids. looked at lmc & a few others for the wood kits for the 73-87,s . All they had were for steppers & lwb,s . Does that make any sense? Also Idont know if our trucks are ready for the wood kits yet (seen mostly on older garage & trailer queens) . yes like most of you , mine is a driver & occasionly haul stuff.
Considering just doing a sprayed on bed liner , like line x. but under the rail & talked to the linex dealer about doing a bow tie in the center of 6the bed , maybe the color of the truck or something.
Any ideas or pics would be appreciated

Question Re: opinions please

according to this site , no kits available for 73-87 swb,s

Any more info on herculiner. How is it applied

how many coats to get it to look good

have never seen any of the do it yourself products turn out too good

But Ive never seen too many .

Back to the wood , it says its recommended to be used with a cover so it wont fade warp etc. My truck bed sees the weather often , probably not a good idea for me.

Thanks for the responses

Re: opinions please

IMO You just can't go wrong with LINE-X. Of course the wood is nice too, if you have the $$, and want to maintain it. At least with LINE-X you can work hard, then wash it and it looks great again!
