leaf spring length
whats the length differences of front springs between 69-72 and 73-87? if i read what i found right, 73+ is 47" and 72 back is 44?

The 73-87 are a tad bit longer.The actual length I dont know.My 69 4wd has 73-87 lift springs and they hit the frame on the back cause they are longer.

you have any pics of that? what would happen if you used longer rear shackle? kinda like the ones msgross just put on his 68.

A longer shackle might help some.
I dont have any close up pics but if you look at the truck in the pics you can see them sorta...Notice how far back the shackle goes and notice the angle...the truck was the 71 4wd when I got it.I later removed that lift,put it on the other 4wd and put a new lift on the 71. hmmm, doesnt look horrible. i bet a shackle about 1/2 or 3/4" longer would fix it. probably give a decent ride too
