New Rag Joint HELP!
Anyone have any experience with replacing the rag joint? I can't figure out how to remove the rag part from the steering coupler.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Hurdy |

The problem is I can't get these pins or caps off. Tried vice grips but the entire pin just rotates all the way through the coupler. I guess I could grind them off and replace them with bolts.

I removed my rag joint and replaced it with a u-joint. In my eyes it's a lot better than a old rag joint. I paid about $39.00 from a race shop here in Olrando. It was splined also, which made it really easy to install.

drill the heads off the rivets on the BACK of the pins ... then the whole damn thing should fall apart.
