Pics new interior & new shoes! Updated
Got my new interior done and wanted to share some pics with you. I think it came out great!
I have the pics of the work on my blazer page (make sure you check out Page 1 and Page 2, the "next page" link is on the left side under the menu buttons.) HERE. Check out the console PT restored for me. It came out great too. Check my last post to see a pic with the new shoes. Last edited by crzngmychvy; 06-17-2007 at 01:24 PM. Reason: Update with pics. |

Looking good. Nice work with the custom boxes and the rear seat brakets.

Re: Pics of my new interior!
I'm eager to see more interior progress as what I see so far looks great! You have obviously put a lot of thought into what you are doing.

Re: Pics of my new interior!
Just went back to look again and see there is a second page - man that interior is blowing me away - very very nice!!!
I wonder if there is a way you can move your "Next Page" icon to below the pics - it is easy to miss where it is located presently.

Thanks for positive words. I'll make the link move when I get home. That was my plan but I forgot to move the links.

WOW, THAT LOOKS GREAT!
how is the hinge mounted for the storage access? or is there a hinge? also, where you sub is mounted, did you add material or thickness around it to build it up to be flush, or does it still stand proud of the wood as it did in the mock-ups? If so, what did you use?

The door for the storage has a hinge at the bottom. I routed out the door and the floor so you can't see the hinges since they are flush. As far as the sub box, it is made of MDF, and another panel of plywood to make it flush with the wheel well. The MDFbox is bolted to the bed and the plywood layer that sits on top is part of the removable panel. This design was Arroyo's, I had originally screwed the plywood to the sub box. Hopefully that makes sense. |

Re: Pics of my new interior!
Man, I didn't even see the "next page" button. I actually had to go back 3 times before I saw it. You need to move it to the bottom of the photos.
That interior is awesome. I like the color a lot. Do you have speakers under the fabric toward the front of the side panels? Do you get any vibrations with the material covering them?

Bouncy - the speakers sound clean and there is no vibration, not from the material nor the panels. I was worried about that too, but it is not an issue. But then again it is not a maxxed out sound system. I set it up so that it sounds clean when it is loud, but not overbearing. I'm too old for a booming system, but not too old to be afraid to turn it up. Also, the fatmat is a major factor to stop vibrations. Huge difference at a low cost, well worth it. Can't wait to get my new wheels mounted... |

Re: Pics of my new interior!
I completely understand the conservative stereo system. I'm too old to fill the back with subwolfers too.
What wheels are you putting on it?
