I went to a pull here a few weekends ago- only a couple of blocks from my house! I was just a spectator though

Re: Almost Pullin' Time!!!
Don`t those directionals make it tough to pull backwards?
Do those headers clear the clutch linkage?Or is it an auto? Can`t wait to see it in action...pulling with class IMHO.

Re: Almost Pullin' Time!!!
6200 is a decent weight class for these old trucks- I like 6500 better. At 6500, you can really get a good grip & keep all 4 tires pulling with proper weight/ hitch positioning. I don't like the 5800 class- too light, it makes it tough to plant the front on a hard- biting track. My '72 with the tailgate and rear bumper removed weighs 5540 with my fat but in the seat!

There is some video on my myspace page...............
www.myspace.com/chevypullin took 2nd place in Modified Street Class....I need to shift some weight around for the next event......so I can eliminate the bounce.
