Anyone got a kenwood stereo with security code? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Ive got a Kenwood 8017 CD/MP3 player and I replaced the battery in my truck today but I cant for the life of me remember how to get the code function to work and without it the stereo is dead in the water. I know the number but how do I get it to reset?
