Does anybody sell speakers that fit under the seat. a while back i thought somebody said they make a set of speakers that fit under the seat with like a 4 inch woofer and a mid spkr and a tweeter? that sound good im not gonna cut my doors up its a sin to do that. thanks, DAN

i have 6x9's in boxes under my seat. it kinda hits your butt on a hard bump but it sounds ok. I'm not into the loud and thumping, as I was in my youth...so i didn't look too hard. I let my exhaust make all the noise

I custom built a set. I took an old set of "TRUCK SPEAKERS" you know the kind that has a woofer, Mid range and a tweeter all built to sit behind your seat. I cut thte boxes to fit under the seat, It took many tries to get them right, I had to keep trimming down bit by bit. I believe thet they can'y be any higher than 4 1/2" high. Then I recovered them with that grey carpet stuff that they use for that stuff.

They sound great, mind you the tweeter could be a little higher, but the speakers under the seat ar my Rear speakers, Yes I did cut speakers in my doors. (I know, I know its a sin, But I did it years ago.)

I have a set of Pioneer speakers in a factory case that sound great under the seat. They made these several years ago for vans, truck sleepers, etc. The last place I remember seeing them was in a Crutchfield's catalog. Check out any place that sells or installs custom stereo systems for availibility. Nice to hear someone has enough class and common sense to not butcher up their truck!

i personally would put any high or mid ranged speakers under the seat, because it seems like the sound would be muffled. now if you could fit a sub under there it would be different.

I have a pair of Pioneers TSX-8's under the seat. These are the old box type with 3 speakers each. I like the sound of them there. (where else can you put them in a truck anyway?)

I bought a set of standard 6x9 boxes and set them on the floor just in front of the seat. I put in high end Boston Accoustics that I had from another vehicle and they sound great. Still get the highs and the boxes sit right between the backs of your legs and the seat without being in the way. Just a convenient way to get good sound without buying separate mid-range and tweeters and not being sinful by cutting you're doors.

Speakers under my seat? No thanks. lol The music I listen to, at my usual volume, would loosen my bowels if the speakers were under my seat.

ther is a speaker shop her in ft. worth Its called Toby's he make his own speakers and boxes the guy is awesome all speakers come with a two year warranty i think. He sell a set made exp, for ower trucks they rock. I can get you more info if you would like later B.

I guess it depends how you like your music and how good the stereo is. I had speakers on the floor, was always moving them, but sound was good. I put them under the seat, sound was too muffled and I didn't want to buy a higher output stereo. When I moved the gas tank, I put them behind the seat, and that was ok, but again, they were in the road of a shelving unit I put back there, couldnt put the seat all the way back. Then, mainly for appearances, I bought the headliner fron jc whitney with the 4 speakers in it. Best solution imo. The music doesn't have to be too loud, and the headliner looks good. The speakers are not the best quality, will probably change em after I blow em out.

mine are under my seat and i cant really hear them at all, ive got a pioneer deck and pioneer 6x9 4 ways, it creates to much base, and not enough treble. i end up turning the base all the way down and the treble up, now if i had some mids on the dash it would be perfect

ive got a pair of custom made boxes with 8" Kicker woofers in them that used to be under the seat that ive taken out since i relocated my gas tank. anyone interested? $50+shipping takes all and ill even re-carpet and seal the boxes

i woundnt recommend and mids or high under the seat either due to muffled sounds. but these speakers were great for bass until i made the room behind the seat available.

Not a choice for high quality sound but if anybody is like me and just wants to listen to the radio, I found these at Big Lots (yes,,Big Lots LOL). They actually wedged perfectly between the floorboard and the rail at the bottom of the seat so they are facing forward and the sound isn't muffled. The best part is they were only $20.
Again,,,,,,,,not high quality,,,,,,,cheap speakers that fit !!!!!!!!!
