Spent a couple hours outside
I finally got around to spending some time outside working on the 72. Right now with money being tight I decided to rattle can the truck to atleast one color instead of all multi colored camo look that the truck had when I picked it up.
Anyways here are some pics of what I got done before the heat and the look or rain moving in got the best of me. The last pic shows the before pic. Also for what it is worth I didnt paint the door yet because I have another pair of doors in excellent shpae that I scored on the parts run I made a while back. The tailgate was also one of the items I scored as well. Anyways its just a start. I want to get it to look halfway decent. More pics to come as more work gets done Paul |

Re: Spent a couple hours outside
I think it looks pretty good. Quite an improvement over the first pic. Keep us posted on your future progress!

Re: Spent a couple hours outside
Oh yeah I also cleaned up a set of headers and cleaned them up as well for the truck. The extra doors are in one of the previous post pics with the copper and white paint. I also think the rest of the exhaust might be in one of the other pics as well. Still a long ways to go but steadily working the bugs and gremlins out of the ole truck.

Looks Good but some would kill for that killer perfect "patina" that you had going on there. RJ22... |

Re: Spent a couple hours outside
I know what you mean about money being tight, and rattle can the truck. Because i am doing the exact same thing with my truck for right now. That way the neighbors don't complain about having a ugly truck in the yard. except that the bed is off, they might complain about that.
