1968 CHEVY WRECKER TOW-TRUCK CAN PICK UP CARS NOW RUNS....... VERY GOOD
TIRES AND A EXTRA SET ALSO BODY HAS DENTS ON MOST CORNERS NO REAL
WRECKS PAINT IS ORANGE AND WHITE (ORIGNAL COLORS) HAS A TOW/TRUCK
TITLE.... 4 SPEED GRANNY GEAR , PTO SYSTEM IN CAB .THIS WAS A AIR CAB BUT
THE COMPRESSOR IS MISSING I THINK THAT IS ALL THAT IS MISSING ON THE
AIR. MOTOR IS A SMALL BLOCK WILL SMOKE SOME UNDER STRESS. POWER
STEERING ALSO . HAS HD RADIATOR AND BRAKES, PER STICKER IN GLOVE BOX
HAS PICS ON THE INSIDES ALSO. TRANS IS NOISEY BUT IS WORKING I HAVE A
REPLACEMENT TO GO WITH IT, IF U WANT. MOTOR IS RUNNING BUT NEEDS A
MAJOR TUNE UP PLUGS WIRES CARB WORK. WOOD IN BED IS ALL BUT GONE.
PTO WINCH IS A TULSA WINCH . U CAN SELL THE WINCH AND MAKE A STRONG
PULLING TRUCK. USE AS A WRECKER I USE IT AROUND MY OWN STUFF FOR
THE LAST 4 YEARS. HAS NOT BEEN ON THE ROAD FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS. THIS
IS MY IDEAS ON THE TRUCK SO U HAVE TO ASK QUESTIONS

more info has custom on door outside is a 133 longhorn frame has a brake booster and had a radio
also and 30 on fender

Looks like a Texas license plate, and the truck's surroundings sure remind me of what Central Texas looks like. Id say hill country.

Truck is in Springtown Texas, I went to look at it today. Was ordered with dual rear wheels from factory. Here is two pictures I took.

That's a really unusual configuration for a step side. (Step side dually together.) They don't even list it in my 68 resto pack as far as I can see. Aren't those fenders extra-wide compared to a regular step side? That thing's just begging to be made into a longhorn/dually! Even the stock configuration is pretty cool IMO. Do any more close-up pictures exist?

I think that thing is awesome. I love the fender extensions and the way the steps are flaired to fit the duals width. I don't know why GM would make something like a step side dually, but it sure is great.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if it were closer, it just goes to show you, you think you know these old trucks and then you see something like this, just because it's not in a resto pac or even a silver book doesn't mean it dont exist.

TxGary... Good pic of that step flared for the extended dually fender.... pretty much convinced me one exist.
