got my seats mocked up

I got bored after work and decided Id try to get the seats in before it got dark. I got pretty close, a lot of the original holes lined up! Driver side and console are in but I still need to redrill and weld some supports to the underside of the passenger seat. I decided to wait on carpet and just dye the original carpet for the time being. I think it'll look pretty good, I have the headliner done just have to put it in as well as re-dying doorpanels, trim etc...

Looking good so far! I'd like to do the same in my truck, and I found a pristine interior today in the salvage yard with the same front seat for $200.

Well I did put some $$ in the transmission and I also had to put $150 to get it out of impound because one of my @$$hole neighbors called it in as a abandoned vehicle (no plates), I bought it on Friday night and was towed on Sunday.

I sold the Blazer and my yellow '85, I got rid of my girl of 4 yrs and figured I'd start over with everything brand new . I've always wanted a 2wd blazer so I'm pretty excited. Guess that means I should change my avatar? maybe not this this blazer is a little nicer looking ha ha

Nah keep them there, I wich i had a better pic of my first k5, I had to sell at the time but man I wished I still had it. Now with the new front seats what are you plans for the rear seat or are you going to have one at all?

Not sure yet, if I decide to keep a rear seat I'll just ahve it recovered the same as the front. Wonder what that will cost?

Re: got my seats mocked up, sorta

You could try the 3rd row seat in a Burb or Tahoe (or Expedition)

Re: got my seats mocked up, sorta

Those look much better mounted. They looked kinda "blocky" on the ground. You gonna dump the headrests? I think they look cleaner without...

Yep, already pulled them out, they dont look as big without them.

I've been trying to find out if they used the same material in the '06 expeditions but I'm having a hard time finding the info I need
