Door panels
I have a 1972 GMC Jimmy in need of interior door panels. It looks like I have the older 1969-1971 door panels installed new. I want to make the truck as original as I can. If by some chance in the last 35 years someone put earlier doors on this truck will 1972 door panels fit older doors? What is the difference?

Re: Door panels
The panels will fit, but the studs on regulator sticking out for the window crank & door handles are shorter (to accomaodate the flatter panels) than the 72 studs.
