brake switch problems help!
on my 63 my brake switch by the pedal. im trying to see wut wires got to that because the previous owner ran a wire from the switch all the way to the back were the tail light wires are then it is tapped in the tail light wire's. the wire that he ran was for the brake lights to go on when at a stop. so can anyone one help with a diagram of just that if not then type in words if possible thanks!!!!!

Brake wiring should be the same as your 63.

i just got done wiring my truck so i know how its wired. a hot wire from the fuse box(always hot) goes to the brake switch. then the other terminal on the brake switch hooks to the tun signal wiring on the column. it doesent run to the back. hope this helps.

Let me borrow this post....
Im trying to wire my 64 and am not able to find the brake light switch....ugh. Anyone have a pic of what it should look like or where it is located? Im looking all around the cab and see nothing around the pedal that would hint at being a switch. Sorry for the noob question.
