Not at all. EC says that 4" is on the boarder line when it comes to repositioning the rear shocks but I am going to try it without repositioning at first.

It shouldn't matter whitch end is up.. Both ends should be the same, because they require the same clamps. The front ones are the ones that have different ends. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I'm doing a 2/4 because they tell me that that's the max I can get away with on the front without drop spindles. 3" with just springs will cause negative camber (which means that the upper control arm runs up hill). This will cause the truck to have bump steer and act weird in hard corners.

Estanley,
Do you have to buy shorter shocks for a 2/4 drop with springs?

You will probly be OK with the shocks that you have. What you will want to watch for is the angle of the shocks. The lower you go the greater the angle of your shocks. At some point you will want to relocate the brackets to bring them into a more stock possition for them to work correctly. My 67 panel has a 4-6" drop and the rear shocks are at too great an angle to be effective, so it is rather bouncy back there. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
