Re: Model Number In Glove Box
I don't think that # tells you if it was a fleet or not but it was a lwb with a bed. A flat bed (cab only) would have like a ce10904 ir somedifferent #.

Re: Model Number In Glove Box
Thanks For the Info
the cab is from a long bed 1/2 ton i bought this truck as a parts truck they put a stepside on it . Now how do i tell if the frame is a longbed frame or short bed frame. the stepside fits on there without the frame rails sticking out of the back end. guess i need to find the vin numbers on the frame? Thanks for the Help/ info BAGGER |

Re: Model Number In Glove Box
I would check your # on your door pillar because when I checked my glove box it said my truck came with a stepside and the door pillar # said it came with fleetside. My truck had the fleetbed so im guessing it was originally a fleet.

Re: Model Number In Glove Box
the VIN won't tell you anything about what bed it came with, nor wheel base.
If the bed fits on there properly, then it's the correct wheel base. You couldn't put a SWB bed on a LWB frame, nor the other way around... without lookin REAL stupid. |

Re: Model Number In Glove Box
Thanks just a little confused
I was going By the Glove Box Info W/ Base 127.0 Model CE10934. The numbers on the door match the Glove. Last edited by BAGGERSOCAL; 06-16-2007 at 09:32 PM. |

Re: Model Number In Glove Box
Check and see if your frame has been shortened, the model number you have is for a long wheel base truck, but looks like short step. The 34 is the key to the fleet bed. Look just behind the cab for a stepped or diagonal cut and also check inside for diamond shaped plate welded to the inside of the frame rails. Hope this helps.

Re: Model Number In Glove Box
if there has been no cutting, then you have an unoriginal cab on the chassis.
