20" rims with tires for sale or trade DFW Texas area

Hey All,

I put my 87 SWB up for sale or trade and in case I do not sell it I wanted to list my wheels and tires here to see if anyone was interested in them. I may just keep the truck and go with a set of 15s since I am using it to pull my boat.

I bought these of the board from BSkylerJ, They were on his 71 SWB.

They are 20X8.5 with a 4.5 backspace.

MFG is MHT Driv.

The front tires are Toyo Proxies 245/40/20 Like new I imagine they have about 2500 miles on them

The rear tires are just a bonus is someone wants them. They are great tread and are Goodyear eagle but they are larger than what should be on these rim to look great on our model truck. They are 275/55/20.

I would actually prefer to trade them for a set of rallys with very good tires and cash.

Or a decent set of 15 inch rims and cash.

I would sell the tires and wheels local for $900.00 OBO

I paid $800.00 for them and over $180.00 to get them here and then had to buy the rears for $100.00.

These have absolutely no curb rash...

Here are a couple of pics on my truck and it is stock ride height. I am sure most on the board have seen Bskylerj 71 with these rims on his truck. I think they look great on any of our year models. Especially at the correct lowered ride height.

I would keep them but I am goin a total different direction.

man if u would have posted these a few days ago i would have bought them from u in a heartbeat but i got other ones already

i have to get some smaller tires for my front rims because i got them same size and back and they r to small but cant buy ur wheels and tires just to have the front tires lol

Yeah,

I hate to sell them or the truck. However, I pull my boat sometime 3 or 4 times a week and in this DFW area traffic it is nice to have a rig heavier than the boat...

No Thanks, You really can look in the mirror and think the rallys are worth the same amount of money???

I am not trying to be an arse here but I can get rallys pretty easily at about any Junk yard in DFW...

Or maybe we could work a deal... We trade wheels and I will offer you $100.00 for one of your Camaros in the classifieds... (which would be cool to have)

I am tryin to offer a nice set of rims to someone in exchange for a set of rallys and cash... Save them some money and get a set of rims that I will not worry about being stolen at the local boat ramp...

I do not expect to exchange these rims for rallys and tires and $900.00.
However I would expect some cash in the deal.

I am also editing to let everyone know that I am just joking around with Meathead... Any offer is an offer and I do not get offended over the internet.
After all I want Al Gore to sleep well knowing that his creation did not cause any unrest... Just having fun...

I have someone looking at my Truck with wheels this afternoon.

And a current offer on the wheels.

wow what a smart ass answer no i dont think the rally's are worth the 900 you want for the wheels and tires but i think the brand new bfg's that i have an 850 reciept for plus the rallys are worth 900.

I clearly stated I was declining your offer and it was stated in a joking manner.

I thought we joined and supported this site to avoid someone coming in a trashing posts.

To me this is trashing my post.

You have over 5000 posts and I respect your time on this board and the support of the board. However I paid the same amount of money you do and I have never once had a problem with anyone on this board.

I have bought and sold quite a few items on here.

In fact I have never even been lowballed on here. I do not post everyday or buy and sell items everyday but I have done pretty well on here and I love this truck board. There is none better.

Hence I thought I could have some fun and post up in a joking manner exactly what I thought.

I appreciate you have receipts for your tires etc. I won't even go into comparing retail price to retail price.

I again apologize if you were offended.

Glad to hear you sold the truck!

For what its worth I think your wheel/tire combo is worth a bit more then the $500 I paid for the set of rallys/BFGs on MY truck.
