Complete Aftermarket A/C in 71 Blazer F/S

My Blazer had this system in it when I bought it. Blows very cold air. When its hot out I don't have the top on so I don't need it. $500 you pick it up and help take it off the truck so you know its complete.

I'm luck enough to be at work right now. I'll try to post the brand and pictures when I get home. I had the bill for the system with the paper work for the blazer and it cost $1050 two years ago.

Here are some pictures. It is a Vinatage air sure fire kit #74067-LCU-A. I'm in the process of removing my engine for a rebuild, sorry for the mess.

Does it use the stock A/C vents & controls? If not, maybe a pic of the dash. Thanks.

Yes it uses the stock vents and controlls. I need to keep them.

Re: Complete Aftermarket A/C in 71 Blazer F/S

I just got off the phone with Vintage air. They say the system on my Blazer is for a non-a/c truck. My truck is an a/c Blazer. I'm not sure why the p.o. did not use the right kit. I down loaded the directions for both set-ups to see what the differences are. Part numbers have changed, but are similar. the new part number is 75067-LCZ-A. they have the directions on thier website.

That's a steal. I just bought mine for $1,095... you couldn't have offered this a month ago?

Would you be interested in swapping a good non-A/C heater control for the A/C one if I bought the unit? Thanks.

Also let me know your location (by PM if you don't want to post it)

I would be fine with that, but I think mine is broken. I have to take it out and look at it.

I can't believe no one has jumped on this.

If someone wants to split this and just wants the evap, I'll split it with you and take the underhood stuff.
