Thinking of making my truck a dually-look-alike... :)
well, I'm definitely not sure yet if it's the way to go but I've been thinking for the last couple hours about taking the fenders off my stepside and putting them on a SWB fleetside bed and instead of making it a real dually (which would be useless for this truck) i could have some 15x15s and matching big-rubber... it would be functional/practical for racing if I have enough HP...
 hmmmmm... it would be interesting... but I'm not married to the idea... What do you think? I'm not sure if I like it more than a SWB stepside or even fleetside SWB... but I have the stepside fenders so it makes it a harder decision...

I don't think those fenders look right slapped on a fleet side.
I have seen the daullie fenders with wide rubber though...looks sweet. I think this is the best lookin daulie fender set up i have seen yet.... |

longhornmail... Those look to be cut to fit stepside fenders to me... Look closly at them... I also think that those are the best looking set-up....... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

wow, I didn't know that the 67-72 came in fendered dualie... i thought they were chassis/cab only...

They didn't come with dually fenders, the one in the picture was fabbed up

There is a dually near my house that uses a normal fleetside short box with no modifications to the outside of it. The wheel tubs are widened and it has a dually rear end on it. The guy said the rear end came from a 1979 one ton tow truck. He said it was the only rear end he could find to fit the tight space. I will try to get pics.

Hmmm, I was thinking that longhorn had the fernders off of a '88 - 90-whatever that were modified to fit and look right.
