My dad's driver side mirror head flew off this weekend

and he needs a new mirror head. I have only seen the complete assembly being sold. Does anybody know if you can buy JUST the mirror head for these type of mirrors?

No, you can not. The mirror heads are pressed into the mirror arm casting from the factory, so complete mirror assemblies are all that you can buy.

Thanks Wes, I had a feeling they didn't sell just the head. My dad saw it fly off into the grass next to the road but couldn't find it. I'm going to take another look tonight after work. Can you at least buy a replacement glass mirror for it or is he out of luck with that also?
