Bag size
What size bags does everyone use in the rear of a 66 c-10 ? I am using 2600 Firestones with 1/2 ports is that over kill?

I'm using 2,400 lb. in rear and 2,600 lb. in front.
I have heard of guys using the 2,600 in the rear with no problems, so you should be fine. Just make sure the bag doesn't rub anything while UP, DOWN or BETWEEN. That's the only thing that I think could be a negative, is the fact that the 2,600 is a bigger diameter. Last edited by Shane; 06-18-2007 at 11:35 PM. |

a lot of people are running slam specialties 7" bag, its comprable to the firestone but more rigid and has internal bumpstop.. and i think is very similar to the 2600 pound bags out there

I am running slam 7's all around....great ride and they do have a built in bumpstop.

I've got 'stones 2500's on rear of my '65. Cool for over a year now and rides nice. I heard the Slam's ride stiffer.
