anyone ever buy one of these crate engines? Any good ,bad , rather not say reports? Thanks for any feed back.

It looks like those are straight from GM Performance Parts. If so, they are a great bang for the buck. Many people use those in street rods and race cars with good results. You should double check, but I believe some of them come with a limited GM warranty. It is mostly a matter of buying from a GMPP dealer with good customer service.

I purchased the 330 HP Turn Key engine for my 71 GMC via the local dealer. Looks to be about the same price. I paid $4800 out the door for my engine with the A/C delete pulley. It has decent power and has a nice idle note to it.
