Re: photos of project problem child
Keep in mind, there is potential in every project. Mine is in worse shape than that, so get at it and good luck!!! Jerry

Re: photos of project problem child
i'm not sayin that there isn't potential. it was just bein a problem when i first got it so the name just stuck. i think problem child sounds more bad ass than frankenstein. but frankenstein would fit it too since its a 60 body with a 62-66 hood, 71 c10 steering column, sitting on a mid 70's c10 blazer frame, with a 350/350 short shaft powering it.

Re: photos of project problem child
It is....looks like a mid/late 80's bumper. Bed looks like it isn't a full 6ft either. What's the length? Jerry

Re: photos of project problem child
me and a few people have been tryin to figure out what the bumper is. i've been thinking that it may be a 67-72 gmc bumper or possibly a dodge bumper. the bed was bobtailed and tailgate welded up by the person that started this project. the bed doesn't even have a bed floor. as for the length, i have no idea. i think that it may be just 6 foot. i'm talking to a guy what is turning his dodge short bed ex-cab into a long bed ex-cab about getting his old step side off of him.

Re: photos of project problem child
i plan on it. i'm thinking for paint doing a body line separation. from the body line up either gloss competition orange or a metalic orange. for the body line down either a gloss jet black or metalic gloss jet black. and for the rims get some chrome 14" baby moons. yeah baby!!!

Re: photos of project problem child
that is a frankenstein and will be a beautiful one once you get it started...see mine is just as much of a problem child only not physically..just paperwork wise..it doesn't have a title...so i can't drive it right now...or register it for that matter...so the guy that i bought it from and I are supposed to look at finding a title for it or getting it or whatever....I don't even want to fix mine up that much just make it a mud truck and leave the rust and what not for character

Re: photos of project problem child
hey semperfi, i'm assuming that you are in the marines from the semperfi, what unit are you attached to?? i'm a fellow ordie up at whidbey island in washington. one way that you can get a title is filing for a lost title. you will have to get an inspection by either state patrol or the local pd, can't remember which.
