Wink Reel Rides update....

I often stop by different Wal-marts when I'm traveling around southern california to pick up any left over Reel Rides trucks laying around or JL's, but when I went by the Wal-mart in Duarte at the Mountain ave exit off the 210 freeway, I didn't have enough money! They had "15", yes I said "15" of the 1/24 scale Dazed and confused trucks. Like I said, I didn't have enough money, so I opted for the DUB city 5-deep package with the 1/64 scale '72 Cheyenne in it. Picked up 2 different ones so I would have the yellow and white truck and the black one with flames. Couldn't fine a pic online of them but maybe someone else, like Wes, could post if anyone is interested. Even the Jada website didn't have a picture. I will have a computer again soon to start posting pics again.

Re: Reel Rides update....

I wish I could find the black one. I haven't seen any of those five deep sets for quite some time.

I just picked-up two of the blue and white '67s. There are less and less of the Dazed and Confused trucks around here.

Re: Reel Rides update....

I've never seen a Reel Rides model here in Western Canada but I found a black Dazed & Confused 72 Chev 1:24 on Ebay a couple of months ago and bought it. I paid 24.95 and I dont know if that is what they sold for in Walmart but I' didnt care cause I'm an avid diecast model collector and just had to have that black Dazed & Confused 72. So try EBay if as a last resort.

Re: Reel Rides update....

They are $19 bucks +tax at Walmart so your Ebay price wasn't bad.

Re: Reel Rides update....

i spent over 70 bucks a few weeks ago on blue blazers, dazed and confused trucks. Walked away from quite a few more there.
I used to have theyellow and white froim the 5 deep, never seen the black one with flames... I'd give my left lug nuts for that!
