Re: ideas on swapping a late model frame under a 49

Well i got a little insight on this, i am currently swapping a 89 under a 72. and it is a little bit of a hassle, frame is longer, attachement points are all different. mine might be a different story, cause it is getting channeled, sectioned, shortened.... i guess the biggest thing is time, if you have the time to fab new mounts, and more than likely brake and fuel lines then i say go for it. chances are you will get frustrated, but the is why it is called a challenge. by the way a s-10 frame fits under those not too bad. just my bit of input. good luck.

go for the s-10 frame swap. the later ones are too wide, making your wheels stick out too far.
