Rearend question

Is the rear ends in the full size vans the same as the truck rearends? Looking for something to ditch the 2.76? gears in a 73-87 truck and the u-pullit has tons of vans.

Re: Rearend question

Im pretty sure there is a difference but I cant remember anymore what it is.
I think the spring perches are different(easy to fix). But the axle housing might be longer.

Re: Rearend question

Van rear's are wider than truck, blazer, or suburban rears. I think they are wider by at least 6 inches last time i checked.
