show me your grill gaurds

lets see the factory grill gaurds. i'm particulary interested in seeing them with 69 -70 and 71 -72 grills but i love the 67-68 ones as well. i'm debating on grills for my k 20 short box project was going to go with 69 -70 grill but i got a nice bumper and grill gaurd from a 72 and a buddy has a nos 72 inner and outer grill that i could have for little or nothing and my 69 grills just aren't as nice as nos

Re: show me your grill gaurds

I dont see many with factory ones...I seen a 67 2wd that had one once.I like the after market ones better.I was debating one for my 71 but think I will just add some stock bumper gaurds...

since nobody is playing, I"LL show some for fun. I don't know if they are factory but they have been on these trucks for 30+ years.

Re: show me your grill gaurds

samey, the one on that 71 is slightly different than the one i got off a 72 but it looks the same as the one a buddy has on a 70 gmc. i wonder if they had different supplyers or they just changed them over the years? thanks for the pics!

All I got is bumper guards. Helps protect the grill a little.

Here is an ex-airforce guard I got on e-bay for $19.95. It came with the bumper.

Re: show me your grill gaurds

Here is the guard that was on my 69 K20 when I bought it

I later hit it with some black rattle can and that really cleaned it up nice

And here is a grill guard on my 70 K5 but it is definitely aftermarket
