Re: wipper help please
I think you missed the correct forum. I will move this over to the pickup forum for you.
As far as your pump is concerned I think you still can get a complete pump or a rebuild kit thru NAPA or Carquest. Good luck oldiron forum staff

Re: wipper help please
thanks for moving this old iron this is where i ment for it to be.i had no idea these were availible. i guess because iv'e seel so many inline in these trucks. probably because it's easier than tearing the dash apart, but mine is already apart so now is the time

Re: wiper help please
I have the same problem, but with a twist:
I bought the rebuild kit, only to find that the pump diaphragm was dry-rotted to death. The next logical step was to replace the entire pump assembly, which presented its on set of problems. First, I have a 67, which apparently has a "slightly" different design from 68-72. The pump assembly was about 1/4" longer than the original one (screw holes don't line up). Also, the original "cam" was metal, with the pump rod being nylon. The repro has nylon cam, and a metal pump rod. I can't get the metal cam to come off the wiper motor assembly, which would leave a metal-to-metal contact if I were to find a way to get the new pump to mount. The only good thing is that I'm tearing the truck down for a resto-mod. I'll probably replace the whole wiper motor assembly in the process. HomerJ
